Beginning his acting career in theater , she knows the public and critical success in the 1990s with his performance rewarded with a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award for Dana Scully in the television series The X-Files (she also wrote and Directed an episode: Existences ) and in the two feature films accompanying the series: The X-Files: The Movie in 1998 and The X-Files: Regeneration in 2008 .
